Bayeux Tapestry arrives at British Museum for first-ever UK display

The thousand-year-old, 70-metre Bayeux Tapestry, depicting William the Conqueror's medieval conquest of England, has arrived in London from France. Conservators began a detailed condition assessment on Monday before it is installed in a specially designed case at the British Museum later this week.
