Wildfire burns 12,000 hectares in Spain's Guadalajara province, hundreds evacuated

A wildfire north of Madrid in Spain's Guadalajara province has scorched more than 12,000 hectares and forced hundreds of people to evacuate, local authorities said on Sunday. Spain is battling multiple fires simultaneously: earlier this month one of the country's deadliest ever wildfires broke out in the south, while another blaze that started in the northeast on Wednesday remains uncontained.
