Zcash's new Zakura node targets Visa-scale 50,000 transactions per second

The Zcash project has launched a new node client called Zakura, designed to push the network's throughput from roughly one private transaction per second to 50,000 per second – comparable to Visa's payment network. It is the first live component of a broader roadmap to scale Zcash to payment-network size. The goal is to deliver mass-scale transaction privacy.
