New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced a ban on landlords secretly using AI-generated images to advertise rental properties. The rule is designed to protect prospective tenants from being misled by unrealistic, computer-generated visuals of apartments. Landlords will be required to clearly disclose when AI imagery is used in listings.
