McIlroy lashes out at DeChambeau: "He held the tournament hostage"

Rory McIlroy sharply criticised Bryson DeChambeau after a dramatic incident at the end of the American's second round at The Open. The Masters champion called DeChambeau's conduct "performative" and accused him of "holding the tournament hostage" during a penalty dispute. McIlroy was blunt: "I won't pretend to defend Bryson — I'm not particularly fond of him."
