McIlroy on DeChambeau's Open incident: "A lot of it's performative"

Rory McIlroy was blunt in his assessment of Bryson DeChambeau's conduct during a Friday evening incident at the 2026 Open Championship, describing much of it as "performative." The Northern Irishman did not hold back his criticism of the American golfer. McIlroy's comments add to the controversy surrounding DeChambeau's behaviour at Royal Birkdale.
