New Zealand's Ryan Fox shot a third-round 62 at Royal Birkdale during The Open 2026, equalling the lowest single-round score ever recorded in a men's major. The score put him joint top of the leaderboard heading into the final round. Lucas Herbert and Sam Burns had previously matched that mark in the same tournament.
