Pyszne.pl to dismiss ~5,000 couriers by August; labour minister demands inspection

Food delivery platform Pyszne.pl plans to dismiss all its approximately 5,000 couriers by the end of August, according to Poland's Ministry of Labour citing a statement from the OPZZ trade union. Workers are to be offered re-employment but on worse terms. Labour Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk has requested an urgent inspection by the Chief Labour Inspectorate into the basis of the couriers' employment contracts.
