Violent storms flood streets in Bydgoszcz, fallen tree crushes cars

Violent storms hit Bydgoszcz in north-central Poland, flooding city-centre streets and turning them into torrents. A shopping mall car park and a theatre entrance were submerged, and a wind-felled tree crushed parked cars. Fire crews responded to dozens of call-outs, and forecasters warn the dangerous weather may persist for several more hours.
