One in three Poles targeted by scammers impersonating public institutions

A survey commissioned by ChronPESEL.pl and the National Debt Register found that one in three Poles received a suspicious message or call in the past 12 months impersonating a public institution. Young, well-educated people were found to be the most frequent targets. Scammers pose as government offices to steal personal data or money.
