Miller: Kyiv's Volhynia concessions are the result of Polish firmness
Former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's declaration on the Volhynia issue, in which Zelensky promised to open secret service archives and unblock search operations. Miller declared that "the era of courteous smiles is over," arguing that Ukraine's concessions prove that respect in international politics is won through firmness. He criticised some Polish politicians' previous "fawning" towards Kyiv as unproductive and harmful.
