Polish Education Ministry prepares teacher pay plan tied to economy

A teacher pay bill put forward by the ZNP teachers' union has been stuck in a Sejm subcommittee since 2021, despite earlier pledges from the prime minister. The Ministry of National Education is now developing its own proposal, which would link teacher salaries to the state of the economy and is intended as a long-term framework.
