Giant rat colony infests central Warsaw near Al. Jana Pawła II restaurants
A large colony of rats has taken hold near Al. Jana Pawła II 46 in central Warsaw, regularly raiding bins outside popular restaurants in the area. Residents have been raising the alarm, but city officials are passing the buck and the sanitary inspectorate admits fully eradicating the infestation will be extremely difficult. Health experts warn of a serious epidemiological risk for local residents and diners.
