Poles explore Italy differently — less beach, more inland travel

Polish tourists are increasingly swapping beach holidays in Italy for alternative routes — smaller towns, rural regions and off-the-beaten-track attractions. This fits a broader European trend away from mass tourism. Italy remains one of Poles' favourite destinations, but the way they explore it is clearly changing.
