BBN chief: Opening Ukraine's Volhynia archives is the only path to reconciliation
Bartosz Grodecki, head of Poland's National Security Bureau (BBN), welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to open archives related to the Volhynia massacres and grant additional permits for exhumations. Grodecki stated that confronting historical truth is the only way to build lasting Polish-Ukrainian relations. He stressed that the future of the bilateral relationship cannot be built without accounting for the past.
