Eichbaum brewery in Mannheim closes after 347 years of operation

The legendary Eichbaum brewery in Mannheim, Germany, is closing after nearly 347 years of uninterrupted operation. Despite months of efforts to find a rescue investor, no buyer came forward. The closure will result in the loss of around 240 jobs.
