Avatar 4 Set for December 2029, Fifth and Final Film Planned for 2031
The fourth Avatar film is set for a December 2029 release, four years after "Avatar: Fire and Ash" premiered in 2025. A fifth and final installment is planned for December 2031. Director James Cameron has said he is still writing portions of the later films and expects advances in filmmaking technology to make production more efficient.
