ZUS chief: Raising retirement age for childless women won't boost birth rate

ZUS president Liwiusz Laska criticised a proposal by Minister Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz to link women's retirement age to the number of children they have had. He argued the plan would penalise childless women and raise serious constitutional concerns. Laska also stated that such a measure would not effectively boost Poland's birth rate.
