TV Academy removes acting and directing categories from primetime Emmy show
The Television Academy's Board of Governors voted to drop several key writing, directing and acting categories from the Primetime Emmy ceremony on NBC on September 14, moving them to the Creative Arts ceremonies on September 5–6.
