Sacked Fedorov reveals he pushed for Syrskyi's removal; Zelensky refused; Umerov named successor

Mychajło Fedorov, Ukraine's sacked defence minister, has revealed that he proposed replacing Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, but President Zelensky refused. Fedorov also spoke about serious problems with the management of Ukraine's defence forces and the ministry's command structure. He named Rustem Umerov as his successor.
