Piter and Chong knocked out in Athens WTA doubles semi-final

Third-seeded doubles pair Katarzyna Piter and Eudice Chong were eliminated in the semi-finals of the WTA 250 tournament in Athens on Friday. They lost to top seeds Hao-Ching Chan of Taiwan and Miyu Kato of Japan 3–6, 6–3, 5–10. Piter will not compete in the tournament's final.
