Historic poll: majority of Poles now oppose accepting Ukrainian refugees

A new CBOS poll shows that 52% of Poles oppose accepting Ukrainian refugees in Poland, while only 42% support it — the first time in 11 years of such surveys that supporters have been in the minority. The share of Poles who consider the aid given to Ukrainian refugees excessive also rose, from 50% to 54%. The result marks a historic shift in Polish public opinion on the issue.
