Sony Pictures adapts action-thriller "Renegades" with Goldstein and Daley directing

Sony Pictures has acquired "Renegades," a short story by Will Simmons, who will adapt it as a screenplay. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the directing duo behind Mayday, are set to helm the action-thriller feature. Hutch Parker, producer of the Venom and X-Men franchises, will produce under his deal at Sony. Plot details remain under wraps.
