Kinga Jackowska takes lead at U18 Euro shot put, but Dutch rival fights back

Seventeen-year-old Kinga Jackowska, coached by Maciej Bukowiecki in Szczytno, was the favourite for gold in the shot put at the U18 European Championships in Rieti, Italy. After fouling her first two attempts, she took the lead with her fourth throw, but a Dutch rival quickly responded. The battle for the gold medal was fiercely contested.
