Over 50% of Poles now oppose accepting Ukrainian refugees, CBOS poll shows

A CBOS poll has for the first time recorded that more than 50% of Poles oppose accepting refugees from Ukraine. Over half of respondents also believe the assistance provided to Ukrainians in Poland is excessive. The results mark a significant shift in public sentiment compared with the early months of the war in 2022.
