Iraq and Syria have signed an agreement to restore an oil pipeline that would offer an alternative export route bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi is visiting the US this week and met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday.
