Disabled Poles may keep PFRON-loaned equipment under planned law change

Poland's State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) reopened its equipment lending service on 10 June 2026. Planned amendments to the rehabilitation law would allow people holding a disability certificate to take permanent ownership of borrowed equipment. The move is intended to improve disabled people's access to orthopaedic and rehabilitation aids.
