Ford's new WEC Hypercar fires up its hybrid V8 for the first time

Ford has fired up the engine of its new Racing Hypercar for the first time, revealing a hybrid V8 powertrain. The car is set to debut in the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship season. Ford Racing released footage of the first engine start-up as part of the car's development programme.
