Poland's ZUS simplifies sick pay applications from 1 July 2026

New rules for applying for sickness benefits in Poland came into force on 1 July 2026. The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has expanded the use of electronic documents to simplify the process for both employees and employers. The changes are intended to cut processing times and reduce bureaucracy.
