Short-term rental law passed but stripped of key provisions sought by local governments
The Polish government passed a law regulating the short-term rental market, but the final text is far weaker than originally promised. Many measures demanded for months by local governments and urban organisations were removed from the bill. Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz stressed that residents have the right to decide what happens in their own buildings.
