Cardano transfers core development to outside teams in decentralization push
Cardano's core developer Input Output will hand control of key network components — including the Haskell node, Plutus and Hydra — to outside development teams. Founder Charles Hoskinson stated the network must change and start growing again. The move is part of a broader push to decentralise governance of the Cardano protocol.
