Apple and Google ordered to remove 13 'nudify' apps from their stores
The San Francisco city attorney sent cease-and-desist letters to Apple and Google demanding action against 13 "nudify" apps available in their respective app stores. These apps use AI to digitally undress people in photos, and are predominantly used to generate non-consensual fake nude images of women. The move is one of the latest legal actions targeting such apps in the United States.
