Deported to Venezuela, killed by earthquake next day — ICE denies responsibility

Daniel Nunez was deported from the United States to Venezuela and was killed the following day in an earthquake. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents stated the agency bears no responsibility for those who have already left the country. His mother is fighting for justice, saying of deportees: "These are not bags of potatoes. These are people."
