Appeals court temporarily restores Pentagon escort policy for journalists
A US appeals court ruled that the Defense Department may temporarily reinstate its policy requiring journalists to be escorted inside the Pentagon. The decision was issued while The New York Times pursues a lawsuit seeking to overturn the escort rule. The policy remains in effect pending the outcome of that legal challenge.
