CDC warns: Taco Bell shredded lettuce from Mexico confirmed source of cyclospora outbreak in 5 states

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed on Thursday that shredded iceberg lettuce from Mexico, served at Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia, is the source of a widespread Cyclospora outbreak. A record number of cyclospora cases have been reported across more than 30 states. The CDC is warning consumers not to eat shredded iceberg lettuce from affected Taco Bell restaurants.
