Contractor chosen for key S17 stretch, but construction still years away

Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has announced the selection of a contractor for another section of the S17 expressway, running from Warsaw towards Lublin and the south-eastern border. Despite the contractor being chosen, the actual construction timeline remains very distant, drawing criticism. The S17 has long been one of Poland's most awaited road projects.
