Szpytma elected IPN head; Tusk vows Senate veto

Poland's Sejm elected Mateusz Szpytma as the new head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), the post previously held by Karol Nawrocki before he became president. The vote split the ruling coalition. Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared that the Senate will block Szpytma's candidacy.
