Lagerstroemia — the "southern lilac" shrub that blooms for 120 days and looks great in autumn too

Lagerstroemia, known as the "southern lilac," is a shrub that blooms from July for around 120 days and also puts on a spectacular autumn leaf display. Native to warmer climates, it is becoming increasingly popular in Polish gardens. Despite its exotic name, it tolerates Central European conditions well and requires little complex care.
