Prosecutor Żurek asks president to pardon Piotr Pytel, wrongly convicted of murder
Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek has submitted a request to the president for a pardon for Piotr Pytel, who was sentenced to life in prison for murder. A subsequent investigation by Polish prosecutors established that Pytel was not the actual perpetrator. He is currently free, as his sentence has been temporarily suspended.
