EU sanctions Russian drone component maker over Kyiv attacks for first time
The European Union has imposed sanctions on Russia's military-industrial complex, for the first time explicitly citing attacks on Kyiv as justification. The measures target Iryna Kharysova, chair of the board of ABS Elektro, and five companies within the group involved in producing components for Shahed and Geran drones. The move marks a new precedent in EU sanctions policy against Russia.
