Polish pharmacists have gained significantly expanded powers in recent years, including the ability to issue prescriptions in specific cases, qualify patients for vaccinations and administer them. They are increasingly the first point of contact for patients with minor ailments. These changes mean many health matters can now be handled without a GP visit.
