Brenda Fricker, Oscar-winning actress in 'My Left Foot,' dies at 81
Irish actress Brenda Fricker, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for "My Left Foot" (1989), has died at the age of 81. The Dublin-born star was the first Irish woman to win an Oscar. She was also known for her roles in "The Field," "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," and "So I Married an Axe Murderer."
