FIFA to award championship rings to World Cup winners, inspired by NBA and NFL

FIFA has announced that the winners of this year's football World Cup will receive championship rings modelled on those awarded in the NBA and NFL. It is another American sports culture touch at the 2025 tournament, following the previously announced halftime show during the final. The final will be contested between Spain and Argentina.
