MG to use semi-solid-state batteries in its next plug-in hybrids in Europe
Chinese automaker MG has announced it will use semi-solid-state batteries in its upcoming plug-in hybrid vehicles sold in Europe. The company had previously also announced its first pure EV with a semi-solid-state battery for the European market. Semi-solid batteries offer higher energy density and improved safety compared to conventional lithium-ion cells.
