Russia developing its own Starlink-style satellite network

Russia has announced plans to develop its own satellite internet system modelled on SpaceX's Starlink. The project is aimed at making Russian armed forces and infrastructure independent of Western communications technology. Technical details and a timeline for the project have not been disclosed.
