Large feline filmed in Lower Silesia, authorities warn residents to avoid forests
A thermal camera captured a large feline-like animal on the night of 14–15 July between the villages of Wojszyn and Droglowice in Pęcław commune, Głogów County, Lower Silesia. Local authorities convened a crisis team and warned residents and tourists to stay out of the forests in the area. A police helicopter was also deployed. Mayor Dorota Jewniewicz confirmed the animal has not yet been identified as a puma.
