Polish Sejm Backs Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram for Ombudsman Post

The parliamentary clubs of KO, Lewica, PSL, Centrum and Polska 2050 have backed Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram as the next Polish Ombudsman (RPO) in the Sejm. Gregorczyk-Abram is a lawyer and rule-of-law activist known for defending judges during the PiS government era. Her nomination still requires approval from the Senate to be confirmed.
