NIK audit: Doctor worked 144 hours non-stop, paramedic clocked 456 hours in a month

An audit by Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) revealed extreme overwork among emergency medical staff. One doctor worked 144 consecutive hours — six full days — while one paramedic logged 456 working hours in a single month.
