Seal swims 600 km from the Baltic and reaches the Oder river in Lower Silesia

A seal was spotted and filmed in the Oder river near the village of Jemielno in Lower Silesia, far from its natural Baltic Sea habitat. Video footage was published on the Jemielno village council's Facebook page and quickly spread on social media. Experts believe the animal swam approximately 600 km upstream from the Baltic Sea.
