South Korea offers complementary financing for Polish K2 tanks alongside EU's SAFE fund
South Korea's Export-Import Bank has stated that Korean financing for Polish military equipment purchases — including K2 tanks — should be seen as complementary to the EU's SAFE instrument, not as a rival to it. Poland has already signed contracts and annexes worth around 130 billion złoty for military modernisation under SAFE. Seoul signalled readiness to continue supporting Polish arms acquisitions beyond European procurement.
